The signature piece of the renowned Persian rug designer, Hossein Rezvani Sahand (Tabriz) carpet. “The exploded rug” is what he calls the design. To be seen in the middle is a very large ornament pressing outwards, the rest “got lost”.  Made in neutral grey background of wool, from which the ornament rises out of pure natural silk. Tabriz Lilac was awarded with the Red Dot Design Award 2011 and the German Design Award 2013.
